DXDT Racing Uses HUBSCALE360™ to Support Multiple Cars
The RFX® Wireless HUBSCALE360™ offers the latest technological updates with a race-winning lineage tracing back to Intercomp’s introduction of the racing industry’s first hub-mounted alignment system with a self-contained wireless scale. The newest generation provides greater clearance for modern brake components, while retaining the performance, versatility, and cost-effectiveness associated with Intercomp’s hub-mounted corner balancing systems.

Changes to the battery box and load cell housing provide clearance for a wider variety of racecars, including those with larger brake components, while thicker mid-plates improve rigidity to accommodate greater wheel offsets. Raeder noted that the versatility of the HUBSCALE360™ allows DXDT Racing to efficiently manage multiple vehicles from different manufacturers competing across various classes in a single race weekend.
One system can be mounted on a Honda TCR racecar with a 5-lug hub, then quickly adapted for a Mercedes-AMG GT3 with a centerlock hub simply by changing the hub adapter. This adaptability makes the HUBSCALE360™ a highly efficient and cost-effective solution for teams managing diverse vehicle platforms.
Intercomp’s HUBSCALE360™ also benefits teams that remain loyal to a single car platform across multiple generations. As manufacturers evolve hub and braking system designs, small dimensional changes can impact wheel mounting surfaces. By machining new hub adapters and spacers, teams can update their existing HUBSCALE360™ system to remain compatible with new configurations.
The RFX® Wireless Weighing Technology used in the HUBSCALE360™ streamlines the corner balancing process by providing real-time weight data across multiple platforms. Data can be accessed via Intercomp’s RaceWeigh PC software, the wireless handheld indicator, or the iRaceWeigh mobile app on Bluetooth®-enabled devices. This flexibility allows crew members to collaborate efficiently when making chassis adjustments, improving workflow and decision-making for race teams of all sizes.
